That species is much sought after for its beautiful shape resembling to a bonsai and its shiny dark green foliage very harmonious. It develops a caudex up to 20 to 30cm when cultivated in pot. Propagation by cuttings is difficult, seed production is very rare in cultivation. Therefore, despite a huge demand, it is rarely offered for sale.

Cultivation Ornamental Value: excellent. Care: much. Speed of Growth: very fast. I got few seedlings about an year ago, and potted all together in a single clay try about 6inches deep. Now in a years time many have grown upto 10 to 12 inches in height and thickness is beautiful too.
Now as per your direction I shall try to put lime also after winters.
